Our Stage 2 handling kit is aimed at the street / track day driver who wants the best of both worlds, a daily driver that performs well in the mountains & the occasional track day.
Includes:
- Racingline lowering springs
- Harding Performance rear sway bar
- Harding Performance front sway bar
The stance is lowered by a set of Racingline (Volkswagen Racing) spring set. If you use your VWG vehicle on a daily basis and are only looking to uprate one aspect of your car, you can’t do better than VWR Sport Springs. What do they do? Well, by replacing the car’s four standard springs with re-engineered, different-rate and slightly shorter Sport Springs, the vehicle’s centre of gravity is lowered, reducing body roll for better dynamics, whilst maintaining the ride quality and comfort of your car. No other changes are needed, it’s as simple as that.
One of the most common comments from our customers after they’ve fitted the VWR Sport Springs is how good the ride and handling is; that’s not by luck. Our suspension engineers work through multiple spring rates, lengths and windings on each derivative of each model to ensure that they are perfect.
We add a rear sway bar at this level, this firms up the rear end and helps the front point into a corner better. Less of a feeling of understeer, and a more sporty ride.
Stage 2 (and 3) has the addition of an uprated front sway bar. The front bar is one of the key parts in mechanical grip often overlooked on this platform. A larger, firmer front bar helps prevent turn in weight transfer.
