So what’s the problem?
The factory 2.0 TFSI dipsticks have an unfortunate habit of breaking off in the tube, leaving you with a problem.
This can cause oil leaks or, if pieces fall into the oil sump pan, potential engine damage.
Repeated temperature cycles from extreme heat to cold eventually make the plastic handle brittle and prone to failure.
