MMX Intake Resonator Delete Pipe | MINI F56 | GP3 | BMW F4x | M135i

MMX’s intake resonator delete pipe replaces the restrictive factory system with a smooth, mandrel-bent 83mm airway, built for the higher-output B48 in the GP3 and M135i. Expect sharper throttle response, reduced turbo lag, and a more purposeful induction note, all through a straightforward factory-connection swap. TIG-welded aluminium, finished in a durable crackle coat with a laser-etched MMX badge.

The increase in bore diameter reduces turbulence and lowers the pressure-drop between airbox and turbocharger. On an engine already producing in excess of 300bhp from 2.0 litres, intake restriction has a measurable effect on throttle response and boost delivery. Removing that restriction improves both, along with a reduction in turbo lag across the rev range.

Deleting the OE resonator also removes the acoustic damping built into the factory pipework, allowing induction and turbocharger noise through to a degree the standard system is specifically designed to suppress.

Construction is mandrel-bent aluminium, TIG-welded, retaining all factory take-off points for a direct like-for-like installation using the existing connections. No cutting, splicing, or ECU remapping is required. The finish is a durable crackle coat with a laser-etched MMX badge.
