Is the i30 N Line sedan ECU tune safe for daily driving?
Yes. Calibrations retain factory fail-safes and are tested on Australian 98 RON for smooth, reliable daily operation.
Do I need hardware upgrades for Stage 1?
No. Stage 1 is designed for a stock i30 N Line sedan. Bolt-ons (intake, downpipe, intercooler) support higher stages.
What gains can I expect on the dyno?
On hub dyno: baseline ~140kW/~305Nm, tuned ~175kW/395Nm (vehicle dependent, 98 RON).
Will this tune work on the i20 N?
No. Although the i20 N shares a similar 1.6T-GDi Smartstream engine, this calibration is built specifically for the CN7 i30 N Line and is not compatible with the i20 N.
Will this tune work on the i30 N Line hatchback?
No. This tune is specific to the CN7 i30 Sedan N Line. The i30 N Line hatchback does not use the Smartstream engine, so this calibration is not compatible.
